Dec. 5th, 2012 08:02 pmWho: Litchi Faye-Ling and David Jordan
What: Fluff. And winter weather.
Info: FLUFF. Just. Fluff. Also, Luceti-verse.
[It's a rare occasion, but Litchi has gotten out of work early for a change. The snow started coming down in thick gusts late in the morning, and since a) no one was coming in, b) there was more than enough staff on hand, and c) Litchi hadn't taken a day off in forever, she was the first to be kicked out and sent home.
It's with no small amount of shivering that she makes the trip back to House 48, silently bemoaning the fact that she didn't bring a heavier coat. A jacket really wasn't good enough for this kind of weather.
She opens the door to the house, pauses, and decides to try taking off her jacket here on the porch. Because really, this is a ridiculous amount of snow that's built up on her shoulders. She doesn't want to track it all into the house any more than she will with her feet. Still, as she tries to shrug out of the jacket and keep herself from freezing at the same time, she leans just slightly in the door and looks around.
Her teeth are chattering, but she still calls out quietly.]
Hello? Is anyone home? David? Tsubaki?

Date: 2012-12-07 04:11 am (UTC)Litchi? Wow, you're home early.
[He walks over to her, noticing her shivering and chattering teeth.]
You didn't bring a heavy coat with you? [He doesn't sound like he's all that surprised, but he motions for her to just come inside.] Come on, let's get you in here and by the fireplace. Do you want some tea to warm you up too?

Date: 2012-12-07 03:53 pm (UTC)I think just the fire should be fine. I didn't expect it to be quite so cold today.
[Especially since she's used to the cold mountain air in Kagutsuchi, but this kind of. Surpassed that level of cold.
As she sets her jacket down gingerly, she notices the smell of the rubber cement hanging in the air and gives him a slightly mischievous look.]
I didn't interrupt anything setting, did I?

Date: 2012-12-10 01:46 am (UTC)Nah, I'm just putting the missiles on the Mirage-2000. Nearly done, but will have to do touching up and final detailing. Just finished anyway.
[As she draws closer, he ushers her over to the fire, going along in tow. They'd brought the couch a little closer to the fireplace so the heat could better reach, and he motioned for her to sit and take it easy.]

Date: 2012-12-18 07:36 pm (UTC)I'm glad. Really. I'd hate for anything to fall apart.
[Absently, she shifts to try to tug the ever-present blanket around her shoulders from the back of the couch.]
...Although, at this rate, the glue might just have frozen in place even so.
